Two new SEL curriculums: 1. SSS for SEL Success and 2. Student Success Skills 2.0
SSS for SEL Success is a new curriculum (2020) that is focused on the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning’s (CASEL) five SEL core competency areas: Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness, Relationship Skills, and Responsible Decision Making. This new program is delivered in five, 45 minute classroom lessons spaced one week apart and includes several of the anchoring concepts and skills from the original SSS Classroom program. Expect higher pro-social skills and less bully behavior when students receive these SEL lessons.
Student Success Skills 2.0 is also new (2019) and is focused on empowering young people with the tools they need to be successful in school, life, and work. SSS 2.0 is built upon the same strong theoretical and research base that support the original Student Success Skills Classroom program. Closely aligned with the CASEL five core SEL competencies: Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness, Relationship Skills, and Responsible Decision Making. SSS 2.0 teaches students about Growth Vs Fixed Mindsets, healthy optimism, emotional intelligence and the McClelland Success Strategies for managing typical problems.
